Meanwhile, the Waterbomb Busan 2025 festival has been hit with a wave of artist withdrawals as multiple stars, including Kwon Eunbi, Park Bom, and MONSTA X’s I.M, announced their absence due to health issues.

On July 25, Woollim Entertainment shared through Kwon Eunbi’s official account, stating, “Kwon Eunbi will be unable to participate in Waterbomb Busan 2025 due to health reasons.” The agency explained that although Eunbi had been recovering with medical supervision for three weeks and was preparing for a comeback, her current condition requires further rest for a stable recovery.”

“We sincerely apologize to fans, who have waite for Eunbi, and ask for your generous understanding. We will focus on the artist’s full recovery so she can return to the stage soon in good health,” the statement added.

Meanwhile, Kwon Eunbi previously captivated audiences at Waterbomb Seoul 2025 on July 6 with her electrifying cover of Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love”, a performance that racked up over 2 million views in just one day.

Meanwhile, 2NE1’s Park Bom was also forced to withdraw from the Busan event. In particular, her agency, D-Nation Entertainment, stated, “Park Bom will not be appearing at Waterbomb Busan 2025 due to health issues. We appreciate fans’ understanding.” This means the full reunion of 2NE1 could not be realized as expected.

On the other hand, MONSTA X performed as a five-member group, with I.M sitting out due to a back injury. Starship Entertainment revealed that I.M recently suffered from back pain and was advised by doctors to rest and receive treatment. He is currently focusing on recovery.
