WINNER’s Lee Seung-hoon, “The Most Important Thing For Idol Is Appearance, Not Skills”
Lee Seung-hoon, a member of YG’s group WINNER, met with Jo Se-ho and revealed his belief about being an idol
On July 23rd, the first episode of the web entertainment program on Jo Se-ho’s YouTube channel features the guest appearance of WINNER’s Lee Seung-hoon and Kim Jin-woo. Broadcasters Jo Se-ho, Lee Seung-hoon and Kim Jin-woo showed off their close friendship and talked about their whereabouts.
Jo Se-ho asked Kim Jin-woo, “When did you think you were a little more special than others?”. In response, Kim Jin-woo said, “To be honest, I’m very proud of being naturally handsome”, making member Lee Seung-hoon jealous. Jo Se-ho reacted, “I like the fact that you’re being honest”.
Lee Seung-hoon then said, “The most important thing for an idol is their appearance. Singing, dancing, and other talents? In the end, people look at your appearance”. He added, “It’s not just about being handsome or not. The power from your appearance makes people realize your charms and like you”. Jo Se-ho agreed, saying “That’s what you must show first on the stage”. Kim Jin-woo and Lee Seung-hoon nodded, saying “Exactly”.
Meanwhile, Lee Seung-hoon released his solo album “MY TYPE” on July 15th, 10 years after his debut. The male idol participated in most of the works for the production of the title song “MY TYPE”, from planning to editing, recruiting, styling, and choreography. Kim Jin-woo has actively been appearing on broadcasts such as ENA’s program “Field Marble”, a golf board game entertainment show set on the field.
