On June 14th, American news outlet The Hollywood Reporter published an interview with “Spider-Man” star Tom Holland. Here, the actor mentioned his stage performances of “Singin’ in the Rain” and “Umbrella” for a 2017 episode of “Lip Sync Battle”.
In particular, Tom Holland recalled his image of wearing fishnet stocks whilst perfectly dancing an umbrella choreography and said, “I’m proud of it, I like that it left a lasting impact. It was an amazing time.”
Regarding the not-so-masculine stage outfit, the actor mentioned that he doesn’t “give a fuck” and explained, “I’ve grown up in the most non-toxic-masculine environment possible. I didn’t realize what I was doing was so forward-thinking. I was just like, ‘Yeah, fuck it, I’ll put some fishnets on and dance in the rain. That’ll be really fun. I don’t care.
He also further emphasized his pride in the performance, saying, “For all the movies that I’m incredibly proud of, the ‘Lip Sync Battle’ is what I get the most compliments for.”

On the other hand, Tom Holland is scheduled to return for a 4th movie of the “Spider-Man” franchise. However, production has been delayed due to the Hollywood writers’ strike.
Meanwhile, Holland is currently dating Zendaya, whom he met on the set of “Spider-Man: Homecoming”, and the couple’s relationship is going as well as ever.
