A new teaser video for Disney’s live-action film “The Little Mermaid” has been released, revealing characters such as Prince Eric and Ursula.
On February 15th (local time), Walt Disney Studios drew attention by posting a trailer for the upcoming live-action movie of “The Little Mermaid” on its official YouTube channel.
The 30-second short video begins with a scene where Ariel, the mermaid, swims in the deep sea and sings in a beautiful voice. In addition, many characters from the movie, who have not been introduced before, also made an appearance.
In particular, alongside the main cast of Ariel (Halle Bailey), Prince Eric, and the witch Ursula, cute creatures from the sea were also shown, adding to the fun.
Unlike the original work, Disney’s live-action film “The Little Mermaid” casts a black actress as the main character, leading to various discussions and mixed reactions before the movie’s release.
Meanwhile, fans are paying attention to what kind of results Disney’s choice will bring, confident that it has cast a more perfect mermaid than ever before.

In the film, actor Javier Bardem plays the role of “Ariel’s father” King Triton, whilst actor Jacob Tremblay will transform into Flounder, a fish who is Ariel’s best friend.
