In a video released on the YouTube channel “by PDC” on February 13th, UEE talked about finding true happiness after 16 years since her debut.

“I think, ‘I’m a lucky person. I’m always really grateful.’ So, it actually spurred me on a lot”, she said, adding, “When I was in my 20s, people would tell me things like, ‘You had these great opportunities, but you didn’t take advantage of them, so isn’t that wrong with you?'”
UEE, who was known for her ‘honey thighs’ when she debuted, also confessed, “I’m actually known for that image, but that’s how I felt when I was younger. I wanted to wear a clothing brand, and I was a model for advertisements, but there were times when the pants didn’t fit, so I thought, ‘Am I fit to be a model?’ and starved myself.”

The actress also revealed that she went on an excessive diet while filming the drama “Marriage Contract”.
Yui confessed, “At that time, I adopted an extreme diet. I didn’t eat at all and starved myself.” She continued, “It was because the role was sick at the time and I had to portray someone who was on the verge of death. At that time, I was really immersed in the role.”
Meanwhile, previously on June 17th, 2024, UEE posted a photo on her Instagram with the caption “#BodyProfile”.
In the said photo, UEE made a catchy pose in a green bikini and gray low-waist training pants. In addition, her bronze skin exuded healthiness and athleticism. The actress also boasted a sexy, curvy body that’s only achievable through hard work, as well as visible “chocolate bar” abs, which drew intense admiration.
UEE recently gained 8kg (over 17 pounds) after quitting her strict diet, a fact which she revealed through an entertainment show. According to the actress, she’s now just “trying to maintain a healthy body”.
Previously in January, UEE starred as the female lead of the K-drama “Ghost Doctor”, alongside famous actors Bi Rain and Kim Bum.
