Netflix’s series “Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area” depicts a hostage crisis situation set in the Korean Peninsula, involving a genius strategist and people with different personalities and abilities.

The character poster of the inter-Korean joint response team contains the agony and tension of the two people as they face the unprecedented situation – the United Mint’s armed occupation. South Korea’s top negotiator Seon Woo-jin (Kim Yun-jin) seems to be completely immersed in negotiations with Professor (Yoo Ji-tae), who represents the robber gang.

In the poster of Cha Moo-hyuk, a former North Korean special agent, Kim Sung-oh is staring into the monitor with sharp eyes. Cha Moo-hyuk is “a person who only thinks about how to handle cases well”. Although he has different beliefs from Seon Woo-jin, they move towards the same goal, adding another tension to the work.

In the character video, Yoo Ji-tae introduced, “Professor is a man of conviction, a genius strategist.” Park Hae-soo talked about his role Berlin, “Berlin oversees and controls the hostage situation at the Mint that takes place from the beginning of the season by terrorizing them and driving division.” Jeon Jong-seo (as Tokyo) said, “I believe her choices helped the overall flow in a more cohesive yet dramatic manner.”  Lee Won-jong mentioned his character Moscow, “His sole focus in life is his son Denver.” Kim Ji-hoon, who played Denver, explained, “Denver is innocent. He easily trusts people and gets attacked. Pretty simple-minded.”

Park Myung-hoon (as Cho Young-min, director of the Mint Bureau) shared, “My character is a self-centered opportunist. Only his survival matters, even at the expense of others.” Lee Joo-bin (as Yoon Mi-seon, an employee in charge of accounting at the Mint) expressed her thoughts, “Mi-seon has an affair with the director. I thought it was a matter of survival.”
