SEVENTEEN Jeonghan recently underwent a surgery due to severe elbow pain.
On June 17th, SEVENTEEN‘s agency, Pledis Entertainment, posted a notice regarding member Jeonghan‘s elbow injury through the group’s official SNS accounts.
Pledis stated, “Jeonghan has been receiving conservative treatment such as injection treatment for inflammation and damage to the outer tendon of his right elbow. Recently, he visited a hospital due to worsening elbow pain and it was determined that a surgery was needed. Jeonghan underwent the surgery on the morning of June 15th.”
The company added, “The operation was successfully completed. Jeonghan was released from the hospital on June 16th and is resting. For the time being, Jeonghan will wear a cast and a brace to protect the treated area and recover quickly.”
The company continued, “Jeonghan has a very strong will to participate in all prearranged schedules. He will be in his cast and brace under continuous discussion with the medical staff and carry out the prearranged schedules, including SEVENTEEN’s World Tour, as long as it does not put too much pressure on his recovery. We ask for your understanding.”
Pledis said, “We will do our best to support Jeonghan in his treatment and recovery so that he can meet fans in a healthy state as soon as possible.”
