38-year-old actor Song Joong Ki, “Acting a college student role in ‘Reborn Rich’? I felt a sense of guilt”

Song Joong Ki revealed his feelings about acting as a college student in the drama “Reborn Rich”.

JTBC Drama uploaded a video titled “[#Jebfoiler] Episodes 3 & 4 of ‘Reborn Rich’ Commentary is so funny that it drives me crazy | Reborn Rich” on its Youtube channel on November 29th. 

Watching the scene where he stood in front of a pile of cash, Lee Sung Min explained, “That money was not ready enough, so we waited until they gathered up it all to film the scene”. When it came to Song Joong Ki and Shin Hyun Been’s scene, Lee Sung Min commented, “It must have been hard to film. You’re a middle-aged man but act like you’re in your early 20s”. Seeing the couple’s sweet scenes, he exclaimed, “You were filming faces like that”, drawing laughter.

Lee Sung Min said, “Both of you acted so well”, praising Song Joong Ki and Shin Hyun Been. He then asked, “How old were you two in that era?”. In response, Song Joong Ki and Shin Hyun Been said they were elementary students back then.

Regarding the IMF scene, Song Joong Ki said, “I remember that it was our first shoot. Sung Min started filming a month before that.”

Song Joong Ki continued, “What I’m glad about this drama is that viewers in their 40s and 30s can relate to the story by connecting it with historical events at that time”. Lee Sung Min added, “It would be more interesting to see the timeline move from the past to the present as the drama continues”.

Regarding acting as a college student, Shin Hyun Been said, “I talked about that. I wondered if it was okay”. Song Joong Ki drew laughter when he said, “There was a sense of guilt”. Shin Hyun Been continued, “It was okay when we act. But I felt a little embarrassed when taking pictures”. Lee Sung Min added, “College students in the past looked more like old men”, making everyone laugh.
