A large number of Korean TV programs have been listed on Netflix’s “Top 10”, proving strong global popularity.
According to Flix Patrol, a global OTT ranking aggregation site on February 7th, as of February 6th, the Korean TV show “Physical: 100” ranked 5th globally in the TV category.
Meanwhile, tvN’s Saturday and Sunday drama “Crash Course in Romance”, which recently recorded double-digit viewership ratings and is gaining massive popularity, made it to rank 7th.
In addition to this, the recently concluded K-drama “Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow”, which features Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung, found itself in the 10th position. It is known that “Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow” have been witnessing increased viewership recently, even ranking 6th back in February 5th.
On the other hand, “Physical: 100”, which is produced by MBC and being streamed by Netflix, is attracting attention in a wide range of regions such as North America and Europe. On the same day, it was ranked 8th in the US and 4th in the UK.
Meanwhile, “Crash Course in Romance” has risen to number one in Korea since the 5th. The rom-com series is gaining popularity in Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia, reaching number one in these nations as well.
