19-year-old genius composer who made LE SSERAFIM’s title song has debuted as a girl group member

One of the composers of “UNFORGIVEN”, the title song of LE SSERAFIM’s first full album, made her debut as a girl group member.

KISS OFF LIFE member Belle worked as a composer before her debut and was also praised as a “genius composer”. 

On July 18th, S2 Entertainment announced that Belle, a member of the rookie girl group KISS OF LIFE, was selected as the winner of ‘Proud Korean Grand Prize’ composer award at the 2023 Korea Best Brand Awards.

Belle shared, “I’ve been working hard just because I love music. It’s my honor to receive such a big award that I don’t think I deserve”, adding “I will work even harder in the future as KISS OF LIFE member Belle and as a musician.”

Belle is also known as the daughter of singer Shim Shin, who dominated the music industry in the early 1990s.

Apart from LE SSERAFIM’s “UNFORGIVEN”, she also participated in composing (G)I-DLE’s “Softly, Charging (Feat. JUNNY)”, Purple Kiss’s “FIND YOU” and writing the lyrics for Kid Milli’s “Kitty (Feat. (G)I-DLE Miyeon)”.

After making her debut with KISS OF LIFE, she also showcased her musicality by composing the group’s debut song “Shh” as well as her solo track, “Countdown”.

As soon as they debuted, KISS OF LIFE already received huge support from global music listeners. On a recent broadcast of SBS’s “Inkigayo”, the group even achieved No.1 in the “HOT STAGE” vote for domestic and overseas fans. 

Meanwhile, KISS OF LIFE is a four-member rookie group from S2 Entertainment consisting of Natty, Belle, Julie Han and Haneul. S2 Entertainment was founded by CEO Hong Seung Sung, founder of CUBE Entertainment and former producer of famous groups, such as 4Minue, BEAST, and BTOB.
