Hairmon revealed himself as the Youtuber who was recently sent to the prosecution on charges of smoking marijuana with Yoo Ah In.

Hairmon continued, “Due to some circumstances, it was difficult for me to make any position on the ongoing investigation, which involves many people. After the investigation began, I took down all the advertisements on my channel in order to prevent unexpected damage”, adding “Now that the case has been handed over to the prosecution and the final decision from the court will be announced, I will provide the details and my position on related matters soon.”

Earlier on the 17th, the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office’s Violent Crime Investigation Division announced that they received the case of A as a non-detention suspect on Narcotics Control Act violation charge from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency’s Drug Crime Investigation Division. According to reports, A is said to be a famous Youtuber who often uploads Vlog content and has about 320,000 subscribers. A was accused of smoking marijuana in the US with four acquaintances, including Yoo Ah In, in January and already admitted to most of the allegations during the investigation.

Later, many netizens in various online communities mentioned Hairmon as A. As people flocked to his SNS to ask whether A was him, Hairmon eventually released his stance.

Yoo Ah In is currently under investigation for taking more than 7 types of drugs, including propofol, marijuana, cocaine, ketamine, zolpidem, and two psychotropic drugs, midazolam and alprazolam. The police applied for an arrest warrant for Yoo Ah In in May but got rejected so the prosecution decided to conduct a thorough re-investigation of Yoo Ah In’s drug case.

The actor was initially suspected of taking five types of drugs, but on June 9th, he was prosecuted with two additional psychotropic drugs, known to be used in insomnia and depression treatment, being added to the charge.

In addition to Hairmon, the prosecution is also investigating B, Yoo Ah In’s friend & artist who graduated from an art school, another Youtuber C, who is suspected of feeling abroad to avoid investigation with Yoo Ah In’s money, and D with a US nationality.
