Youtube channel “Sojang” that spread malicious rumors about stars has finally been deleted 

The Youtube channel “Sojang”, which spread false rumors about numerous Korean celebrities, was already deleted.

On June 25th, it is confirmed that the Youtube channel “탈덕수용소 (Sojang)” no longer exists.

Earlier, the news that the channel “Sojang” had been hacked spread widely on social media, such as Twitter. Netizens found out that all videos uploaded by “Sojang” had been changed to private and the channel was also renamed “Tesla Live”.

In addition, “Sojang”’s backup account “입덕수용소” is known to have also been deleted.

K-pop fans expressed joy and cheered upon hearing about the hacking and disappearance of “Sojang”.

Netizens commented, “We met and you were disgusting. Let’s never see each other again”, “I heard ‘Sojang’ had been hacked. Congratulations to all K-pop fans”, “Our country rewards the person who hacked ‘Sojang’”, “Hacker, please tell me your bank account”, “You defeated the evil of society”, etc.

“Sojang” is known as the Youtube channel that raised controversies and spread rumors about idols, actors, Youtubers, etc. They often produced videos by combining details of existing events and creating fake news about events that never actually occurred.

Celebrities who have been harmed by this channel’s baseless defamation and mass production of rumors include IVE Jang Won Young, BLACKPINK Jennie, BTS V, etc. 

This channel not only raised stars’ dating rumors but also spread unconfirmed speculations about celebrities’ private lives.

In 2021, BTS’s agency Big Hit Music even posted an official statement announcing their plan to take legal action and file a complaint against cyber information leakers, including “Sojang”. 

BTS V even left a comment on Weverse, saying, “Oh? I’m going to sue you. You have to pay the price. You even touch my family and friends. Goodbye”, adding, “All the artists hate that such a kind of person”.
