Yoona won Best Actress for “Big Mouth” role at the 2022 MBC Drama Awards, “I felt burdened”

“Big Mouth” Yoona won “Top Excellence Award – Actress” (Best Actress in a mini-series) at the 2022 MBC Drama Awards.

On December 30th, the 2022 MBC Drama Awards ceremony was held at MBC Public Hall in Sangam-dong, Seoul. Broadcaster Kim Sung Joo and Girls’ Generation member and actress Choi Soo Young hosted the event. 

Yoona said in her acceptance speech, “2022 is a year when I had activities as a singer and was busy with various works. Among them, it was a meaningful time to live as Mi Ho in ‘Big Mouth‘. Being given the Top Excellence Award makes this an even more unforgettable drama and year for me.” 

She continued, “Although there was some pressure because it was a new genre and character, I am grateful that ‘Big Mouth’ received so much love. I’m also thankful for my family, friends, and fans. I’ll show you good works next time.”
