The highly anticipated June releases, “King the Land,” “See You in My 19th Life,” “Lies Hidden in My Garden,” and “Revenant,” have all received great reviews.
Firstly, “King the Land,” which premiered on June 17th, recorded a viewership rating of 5.07% for its first episode and 7.54% for the second episode. On June 24th, it reached a rating of 9.14%, showing a rising trend.
As of June 25th, “King the Land” maintains its position as the 2nd most popular show on Netflix Korea’s TOP 10 and also ranks 2nd on TVING’s TOP 20.
Similarly, “See You in My 19th Life,” released on the same day, continues to gain popularity as it holds the 4th position on Netflix Korea’s TOP 10 and the 3rd position on TVING’s TOP 20.
Furthermore, “Lies Hidden in My Garden,” which premiered on June 19th, has also achieved success. It currently holds the 1st position on Netflix Korea’s TOP 10 and the 10th position on TVING’s TOP 20.
Lastly, SBS drama “Revenant,” which premiered on June 23rd, recorded nationwide household ratings of 9.9%, 10.8% in the capital area, and a peak of 12.8% from its first episode (according to Nielsen Korea).
The second episode, which aired on June 24th, also saw an increase in ratings, reaching 10.8% in the capital area and 10% nationwide, with a peak of 13.1%. It secured the top spot among mini-series aired during the same time slot and on Saturdays. “Revenant” also claimed the 1st position as today’s TOP content on Disney Plus.
“King the Land” is a romantic comedy drama that revolves around the encounter between Goo Won (Lee Jun Ho), a chaebol heir who cannot withstand insincere smiles, and Cheon Sarang (Im YoonA), a woman who must always wear a bright smile due to her job.
“See You in My 19th Life” depicts the story of Yoon Joo Won, who reincarnates multiple times while retaining memories of past lives, as she dies in her 18th life and is reborn as Ban Ji Eun (Shin Hye Sun) in her 19th life, taking on a completely different destiny.
“Lies Hidden in My Garden” portrays the story of two women whose lives change dramatically due to a single suspicion—one living a seemingly happy life in a perfect house that others envy, and the other struggling to escape an unhappy life.
In “Lies Hidden in My Garden,” Lim Ji Yeon plays the role of Choo San, who fights to escape from the torment of domestic violence, while Kim Tae Hee portrays Moon Joo Ran, who gradually suffers from anxiety disorder due to past traumas in her newly moved-in house.
“Revenant” is an occult mystery thriller that unravels the mysterious deaths surrounding five different bodies, where a woman obsessed with ghosts and a man who can see that ghosts coexist.
