Actor Yoon Si-yoon is set to shock fans with a villainous transformation in SBS’s hit drama Taxi Driver 3.

Returning after two years, Taxi Driver 3 has already piqued viewer interest by teasing increasingly ruthless villains for each episode. The first episode featured Japanese star Kasamatsu Sho as the antagonist, setting a high bar for the season.

Yoon Si-yoon will appear as the second villain, Cha Byung-jin, in episodes 3–4. His character is the top figure in a used-car scam cartel, and the recently released special poster shows him with a sharp, deadly gaze and a lean, intense appearance unlike anything fans have seen from the actor before.

In the poster, Yoon Si-yoon’s pointed jawline, thin face, and piercing eyes convey a palpable tension, evoking a dangerous aura. This marks a significant departure from his usual image as a wholesome, reliable young man.

The production team revealed that Yoon Si-yoon even voluntarily underwent extreme weight loss to fully embody Cha Byung-jin, demonstrating his dedication to the role. Fans are especially looking forward to the dramatic confrontations between Kim Do-gi (played by Lee Je-hoon) and Yoon Si-yoon’s villainous character.

The series’ team teased: “Yoon Si-yoon’s passion for acting shines through in his transformation for Cha Byung-jin. Viewers will be surprised by the reversal from his usual image.”

With this intense preparation and an unseen look, expectations are high for Yoon Si-yoon’s performance in Taxi Driver 3.
