On the November 23 broadcast of SBS variety show My Little Old Boy, Lee Seung-gi appeared alongside guests Lee Hong-gi and Jang Geun-seok.
In the preview, he shared: “I take our daughter to and from kindergarten with my wife, and it’s an incomparable happiness. The impact of this joy is beyond comparison.”
He described the experience of parenting with warmth, saying, “The children just run toward you. When they come running nonstop, you have to embrace them.”
During the segment, Lee Seung-gi revealed photos of his daughter for the first time on television. MC Shin Dong-yup reacted, calling her “adorable,” while co-guest Jang Geun-seok expressed envy, joking, “I’m not even married yet, and you’re already talking about parenting.”
Lee Seung-gi married actress Lee Da-in in April 2023 after two years of public dating. The couple welcomed their daughter the following year. Lee Da-in is the daughter of actress Kyeon Mi-ri and the younger sister of actress Lee Yoo-bi.
The actor has consistently expressed his affection for his family since marriage. In a recent appearance on YouTube channel Jo Hyun-ah’s Ordinary Thursday Night, he recommended marriage wholeheartedly: “I highly recommend getting married. I approached it fully as Lee Seung-gi, keeping my career as an entertainer, and entering a new realm. I highly recommend it.”
Lee Seung-gi recently returned to music with the digital single By Your Side and continues his role as MC for JTBC’s audition program Sing Again 4, maintaining his versatile presence in both music and television.
