Actors Yoo Yeon-seok and Esom are officially joining the cast of SBS’s upcoming Friday–Saturday drama Shin I-rang Law Office, taking on the roles of two very different and very unusual lawyers.
The production team confirmed their casting on November 26, announcing, “Yoo Yeon-seok and Esom have been finalized for the lead roles.”
Shin I-rang Law Office is described as a “vengeance-solving adventure courtroom drama.” The story follows a lawyer who suddenly begins seeing ghosts, teaming up with an elite lawyer to resolve the grievances of extraordinary clients through the power of the law.

Yoo Yeon-seok plays Shin I-rang, a lawyer who starts seeing spirits after opening a law office where a shaman house once stood. His unexpected ability to experience possession brings unpredictable changes to his life, placing him at the center of bizarre cases.
Esom stars as Han Na-jyun, a top ace lawyer from a major law firm with a 100% win rate. Known for her cold decisiveness, she sits at the top of her field until she loses a case to Shin I Rang, which sends her life on a completely new trajectory.
The drama’s key charm lies in the synergy between the two contrasting lawyers. Shin I-rang uncovers crucial clues by hearing the voices of ghostly clients or becoming possessed by them while Han Na-jyun pieces the clues together through logic and razor-sharp legal reasoning.

Their reluctant partnership evolves into a compelling pursuit of truth as they tackle case after case, blending fantasy, mystery, and legal thriller elements.
The production team commented, “With Shin I-rang’s ability to see spirits, Han Na-hyun’s cold judgment, and the unique stories of ghost clients, an unexpected three-way collaboration will unfold.”
Shin I Rang Law Office is scheduled to premiere in the first half of next year.
