Yoo Jae Suk won Daesang at the 2022 SBS Entertainment Awards, “I prayed that Ji Suk Jin would be the winner”
Yoo Jae Suk was named the Daesang winner at the 2022 SBS Entertainment Awards.
On December 17th, the 2022 SBS Entertainment Awards was held in Seoul, hosted by Tak Jae Hoon, Jang Do Yeon and Lee Hyun Yi.
On this day, the Daesang (grand prize) trophy went to Yoo Jae Suk of “Running Man”. Yoo Jae Suk said, “There are times when I feel something when receiving an award, but today it didn’t happen at all.”
He continued, “I don’t know what to say because I’m sorry to the other Daesang nominees. I received the award, but it’s an award that the ‘Running Man’ team received together. I want to give all this honor to Ji Suk Jin. I’m really sorry. I really prayed that Ji Suk Jin would get it. When my name was called, I said ‘I’m sorry’ to him, and he cursed at me,” making everyone laugh.
He added, “Since you gave me a big award, I think of many things. I sincerely love and thank the ‘Running Man’ team, numerous guests, our production team, my beloved Na Kyung Eun, and my children Jiho and Naeun, and my family. The clothes I cherish keep disappearing. I think Jiho wears them, but I hope you at least say something to your dad.”
He concluded, “I think it’s been a year when I have a lot of homework to solve. As much as I have been loved by many people, I will work hard with the members. This is my 19th award, and I will work hard to receive one more and make it 20,” revealing his ambition and receiving applause.
