This news does not shock fans as G-Dragon’s exclusive contract ended in June 2023. Up to now, G-Dragon has removed links to YG’s official website from his YouTube channel, and his name no longer appears on the YG artist roster. During the drug scandal involving G-Dragon, YG also took no action to protect the BIGBANG leader as he is no longer under the company’s management.

The South Korean media reports that the “Kpop King” has signed a contract with Galaxy Corporation. Galaxy Corporation has announced that they will hold a press conference at the JW Marriott Seoul hotel on the morning of December 21 to address G-Dragon’s drug controversy. It is known that the leader of BIGBANG will not participate, but a representative from Galaxy Corporation will summarize the case, share G-Dragon’s perspective on the police, the nightclub manager’s false accusations, and malicious comments. At the same time, the company will also unveil G-Dragon’s plans for the coming year.
