YG confirms Bang Yedam and Mashiho will be absent from TREASURE’s comeback and tour until the end of 2022

YG has made an additional announcement regarding the future of TREASURE’s Bang Yedam and Mashiho.

In late May, YG Entertainment suddenly announced that Bang Yedam and Mashiho would be temporarily suspending their activities as TREASURE members to spend time studying music and taking care of their health.

Today (July 13th), YG has issued another statement, confirming that Bang Yedam and Mashiho will sit out of all activities of TREASURE until the end of this year, including both concerts and comeback promotions. TREASURE will carry on their activities as a 10-member group.

YG’s full announcement is as follows:

“Hello. This is YG Entertainment.

We would like to announce TREASURE’s upcoming activities this year to TREASURE MAKERS, who have always shown support for the group.

TREASURE has been active with 10 members due to personal and health reasons, and we have decided to maintain this for the upcoming summer comeback and concert tour later this year.

We are facing many difficulties, and although we know that fans will be saddened by this announcement, the remaining 10 members are still doing their best in the upcoming activities not to make fans feel the absence of the other 2 members.

TREASURE will meet fans through music activities to celebrate their 2nd debut anniversary in August this year. We ask for your support and encouragement for the 10 members, including: Choi Hyunsuk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Yoon Jaehyuk, Asahi, Doyoung, Haruto, Park Jeongwoo, So Junghwan.

Thank you.”
