YG artists on Na PD’s show: Jennie shocked at AKMU Chan-hyuk’s remark, “BLACKPINK and AKMU are in the same line” → Exciting Strawberry Game
Appearing on tvN’s famous show hosted by Na PD, AKMU Lee Chan-hyuk claimed that BLACKPINK is in the same line as AKMU.
tvN’s entertainment show “Busines Trip Siboya 2/ 출장 십오야2” aired its special episode with YG Entertainment artists at 10:25 P.M on February 25th.
SECHSKIES’s Eun Ji-won, AKMU’s Chan-hyuk, Winner’s Kim Jin-woo and Song Mino, iKON’s Kim Jin-hwan and Song Yun-hyeong, BLACKPINK’s Jennie, TREASURE’s Choi Hyun-suk and Ji-hoon appeared on the broadcast.
Na PD placed everyone in the order of their debut dates. When Jennie appeared, all the cast members stood up. They let Jennie sit in the center position. Eun Ji-won looked at Jennie as if he was looking at a celebrity and said, “This is my first time seeing Jennie in person”, making everyone burst into laughter. Song Yun-hyeong and Eun Ji-won shook hands with Jennie and greeted her.
Jennie said, “I joined the company in 2010. Among everyone here, I have known Jin-woo oppa for the longest time”. Eun Ji-won then talked about his trainee days, saying, “I was trained for about 6 months. To prevent H.O.T from becoming more popular, it seems like our group was created and debut roughly”.
Before the game, the cast spent time introducing their group’s slogan. TREASURE shouted, “FIND YOUR TREASURE”. iKON then said, “Get Ready! Showtime”. In response to iKON’s slogan, TREASURE members expressed their jealousy, “iKON’s slogan sounds so cool”. Upon hearing this, Song Yun-hyeong was surprised and he replied, “Yours is cool, too”.
When it came to Jennie’s turn, she confessed, “We don’t have any slogan. We only say ‘Hello, we’re BLACKPINK’”. Immediately, Lee Chan-hyuk responded, “In YG, we have these lines. One is Big Bang – WINNER – iKON – TREASURE and the other is AKMU – BLACKPINK. (BLACKPINK and I) We are in the same line”. Jennie laughed as she was shocked. Lee Chan-hyuk then explained, “I was talking about groups that have and don’t have a slogan”.
The singers had time to select their favorite songs for each group. Eun Ji-won picked Sechskies‘ “Couple.” Lee Chan-hyuk picked “Don’t cross your legs.” He said, “I think I picked a good song without intention.” Jin-woo chose “REALLY REALLY” and Song Mino chose “SOSO.” Jennie picked “Whistle” as her favorite song, saying, “I personally like this style”. iKON’s Song Yun-hyeong chose “RHYTHM TA” and Jin-hwan chose “LOVE SCENARIO”. TREASURE Hyun-suk picked “JIKJIN” and Ji-hoon chose “BOY“.
They set their favorite songs as slogans and played the “Strawberry Game“. First of all, Lee Chan-hyuk failed to use his mouth and was eliminated. A secret vote was held to save Lee Chan-hyuk, but Lee Chan-hyuk was not rescued. TREASURE’s Hyun-suk, iKON’s Song Yun-hyeong, and Winner’s Jin-woo were then eliminated one after another.
Even Eun Ji-won was eliminated due to his juniors’ consecutive attacks, and Song Mino, Jennie, and Ji-hoon remained until the end. After a breathtaking match, Ji-hoon was eliminated, and Jennie and Song Mino played in the final. Song Mino missed the chance to attack due to Song Yun-hyeong’s interference, and Jennie became the final winner. Once again, a chance was given to Song Mino. Song Mino changed his slogan to “LOVE ME LOVE ME” and Jennie changed her slogan to “DDU-DU DDU-DU”.
The final victory was earned by Song Mino, who received the title of Strawberry King, a trophy, and a bouquet. So Song Mino said, “If I knew it would be like this, I wouldn’t have played so hard. I want to return it,” making everyone laugh.
