Writer Kim Eun Sook of “The Glory” Clarifies Rumors About Ha Do Young Being Infertile  

“The Glory” writer Kim Eun Sook personally explained the rumor of Ha Do Young’s infertility. 

At 8 p.m. KST on March 8th, Netflix’s official YouTube channel broadcasted the “The Glory Part 2” GV (Guest Visit Production Team Briefing) event live. Writer Kim Eun Sook, director Ahn Gil Ho, and actress Song Hye Kyo attended the first part of the event.

In Part 1 of the series, there were speculations that Ha Do Young (Jung Sung Il), who lacks nothing in both wealth and appearance, married Park Yeon Jin (Lim Ji Yeon) because he is unable to conceive children, and could divorce her anytime he wanted. During the event, a fan asked Kim Eun Sook directly if Ha Do Young is infertile. Kim Eun Sook shut down this rumor, saying, “Ha Do Young is perfectly fine. Please don’t make assumptions, and expect to see more of Jung Sung Il’s works in the future.”

Kim Eun Sook also revealed some insights into “The Glory” story and character development, which will be explored in Part 2.
