Woo Do-hwan Won Top Excellence in Acting At 2023 MBC Drama Awards, “It’s harder to keep than to achieve”

The MBC Drama Awards was held at 8:40 p.m. on December 30 at MBC’s new headquarters in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. Kim Sung-joo and Park Kyu-young were the hosts of this year’s award ceremony.

In this event, Woo Do-hwan from “Joseon Atteney” won Top Excellence in Acting Award. “It’s a very difficult, awkward, and nervous place to be. I don’t even know what to say because it’s more like that,” Woo said.

First of all, I would like to thank the staff and actors, including the director and writer of ‘Joseon Attoney’. There were so many actors in each episode. I think I was able to be here and receive a lot of love because of them,” he said.

Woo Do-hwan also said, “It’s hard to say this in front of seniors, but I’ve been doing my job of learning to act for over 10 years, and what I felt is that it’s harder and harder to keep than to achieve something. I think this award is an award that tells me that I did justice to ‘Joseon Atteney’,” he said humbly.

Meanwhile, starting with “Kokdu: Season of Deity,” several dramas were aired on MBC this year, including “Numbers,” “Joseon Attoney,” “Lover,” “The Story of Park’s Marriage Contract,” “The Witch’s Game,” “Meant to Be,” and “A Good Day to Be a Dog.” They all competed for awards at the 2023 MBC Drama Awards.
