WJSN’s Seola “It’s better to help each other warmly rather than compete + It’s awkward to eat alone”

On the Jan 22nd (Monday) broadcast of KBS Cool FM’s “Park Myung-soo’s Radio Show”, WJSN’s Seola and Choi Yena appeared on the “Legendary Master” segment to introduce their new albums and share stories.

When DJ Park Myung-soo asked “Are you two acquainted with each other?“, Seola responded, “We’re not exactly acquainted, but we’ve run into each other a few times while doing programs. And she attended our concert.” Choi Yena added, “That’s right. The first concert I attended as a trainee was senior WJSN’s concert. So, it’s really fascinating to be in this position now.”

Park Myung-soo asked, “So, are you two in a competitive relationship?” Seola replied, “No. These days, it’s better to help each other warmly rather than compete.”

Choi Yena sympathized, “I totally agree. Senior (Park Myung-soo), aren’t you close friends with senior Yoo Jae-suk? Isn’t it that kind of feeling?

When Seola, who is a fan of Yoo Jae-suk, mentioned that she is also a fan of Park Myung-soo, Park Myung-soo asked, “Park Myung-soo vs Yoo Jae-suk?” Seola humorously replied, “Yoo Myung-soo.

Later, when Park Myung-soo asked “Halmyungsoo vs Pinggyego?“, Seola answered “Halmyungsoo” and explained “I think there’s a slightly higher chance that I’ll appear on Halmyungsoo“, causing laughter.

When Park Myung-soo asked “How is it different between performing as a group and solo?“, Choi Yena replied, “There are too many members, and their names are long, so it took about a year to memorize their names. The stage is really complicated when performing with so many members, and if you make a mistake, it’s a big problem. It’s burdensome because if one person messes up, all 12 get messed up. However, there’s no need to worry about such things when doing solo activities. It’s easy; you just stand in the middle. There are pros and cons, but performing with 12 is definitely more fun, and the energy is different.

Seola explained her feelings about solo activities, “I initially had a hard time adapting to doing things alone. It was so awkward just sitting alone in the waiting room. It was awkward and I couldn’t adapt. Even though I like eating alone, when scheduling, it felt awkward to eat alone. It’s still awkward with the staff and manager.
