The dating show “Single’s Inferno”, which enjoys global popularity, is returning with Season 2 this winter.
On November 15th, Netflix confirmed the release date of “Single’s Inferno Season 2” to be December 13th, 2022, and released the main poster and main trailer.
The main trailer begins with Kyuhyun‘s narration, “One choice can separate heaven and hell“, and shows the contrasting landscape of “Hell” with a primitive atmosphere and “Heaven” with colorful lights, reminding viewers of the 1st season.
Then, voices saying “Can I cross the line?” and “I’m really good at keeping mine” pops up alongside the appearances of this season’s participants, who express their feelings for each other more candidly and without hesitation while going back and forth between “Hell” and “Heaven”. Shots which show high-level physical touch between the cast, who seemed to have held hands and kissed, also evokes curiosity and draws attention.
“Single’s Inferno” is an honest and hot dating reality show that takes place on the remote “Hell Island”, and only couples who successfully match get to go to “Heaven”. Season 1 of the show aired for 4 weeks in December of 2021, and was greatly loved by providing heart-throbbing excitement and twists that make viewers unable to take their eyes off the screen. In addition, it was the first Korean entertainment show on Netflix to rise to the 4th place in the global TOP 10 TV Show (non-English) category for two weeks.
Along with this, all cast members who appeared in Season 1, such as Freezia (Song Ji Ah), Shin Ji Yeon, Moon Se Hoon, Kim Hyun Joong, and Cha Hyun Seung, gained popularity with a rapid increase in the number of SNS followers. As such, season 2, which was launched thanks to the love for season 1, is expected to capture the hearts of viewers.
Similar to season 1, “Single’s Inferno Season 2” will feature Hong Jin Kyung, Lee Da Hee, Kyuhyun, and Hanhae as MCs, just like in the 1st season. It will be released on Netflix on December 13th.
