Which programs require replacement of fixed members?
There is a program that was selected as the No.1 variety show that requires replacement of fixed members, beating SBS' "Running Man", MBC's "Hangout with Yoo", JTBC's "Knowing Bros" and KBS2's "1 Night 2 Days".
The community portal site DC Inside conducted a vote under the theme of “Which programs require replacement of fixed members?”. This vote was held for a total of 7 days from July 3rd to 9th. According to the result of the vote, MBC’s “I Live Alone” ranked first.
“I Live Alone” topped the list with 3,920 (23%) votes out of 17,209 votes. “I Live Alone” is a documentary-type entertainment program that reflects the increasing number of single men/women and single-person households as well as captures the daily lives of celebrities living alone in the form of an observation camera.
“I Live Alone”, which began airing in March 2013, aired a 10th anniversary special broadcast last May. Following the 10th anniversary, it also marked its 500th episode at the end of last month. MBC’s “I Live Alone” has regular members such as broadcaster Jun Hyun Moo, comedian Park Na Rae, comic creator Kian84, SHINee Key, singer-songwriter Code Kunst, actors Lee Jang Woo, Lee Joo Seung and Kim Kwang Kyu.
DC Inside said, “‘I Live Alone’, which recorded high ratings thanks to the popularity of members such as Jun Hyun Moo, Park Na Rae and Kian84, has recently been pointed out that it needs a change.”
Following “I Live Alone”, “1 Night 2 Days” (3,152 votes, 19%), “Knowing Bros” (2,607 votes, 16%), “Hangout with Yoo” (2,466 votes, 15%), “Running Man” (2,176 votes, 13%) and “My Little Old Boy” were listed on the list. These programs have one thing in common that they are all long-running entertainment shows.
Regarding “1 Night 2 Days” and “Knowing Bros”, which ranked second and third, DC Inside evaluated, “‘1 Night 2 Days’, which was loved by men and women of all ages to the extent that it was called the best national entertainment show, is suffering from a steady decline in viewership ratings. ‘1 Night 2 Days’, which has continued its seasons despite all kinds of twists and turns, recruited new members for season 4, but it’s said to be lacking in fun due to overlapping materials and contents for a long time. ‘Knowing Bros’, which became JTBC’s representative entertainment show with various charms under the concept of school friends, was evaluated as boring with repeated laughter patterns and characters. Besides, ‘Knowing Brother’, which has been consistently pointed out for the need for member replacement, attempted a new change from a 7-member system to an 8-member system led by Kang Ho Dong.”
