“We’d like to announce our position about the damage from Lee Do-hyun’s personal SNS account hacking”
Actor Lee Do-hyun was damaged after his Instagram was hacked.
Yuehua Entertainment Korea (hereinafter referred to as Yuehua) made an official statement on August 24th, saying, “Hacking activities such as blocking administrator access and deleting posts has been detected on Lee Do-hyun‘s personal SNS account this morning.”
“We are asking the headquarters to recover and take action against the hacking damage, and we are doing our best to resolve the problem as soon as possible,” it explained.
In the meantime, Yuehua emphasized, “As the posts uploaded and all activities related to the account until the account is restored are irrelevant to actor Lee Do-hyun, we hope there won’t be any damage to Lee Do-hyun.”
Earlier in the morning, Lee Do-hyun’s Instagram posted pictures of rats, Brazilian flags, and unknown foreign men, raising questions.
Later, the person suspected of being the hacker said, “I’m just doing this as a joke, all his posts will be uploaded again and everything will return to normal,” adding, “This was to spend time as I was bored.”
Currently, Lee Do-hyun’s Instagram account is inaccessible.
Meanwhile, Lee Do-hyun, who debuted in 2017, rose to stardom after appearing in a number of works such as “Prison Playbook,” “Hotel Del Luna,” “18 Again,” “Youth of May” and “Sweet Home.”
