Are they too confident? Tickets for “Street Man Fighter” concerts are being unsold.
Mnet’s “Street Man Fighter” (hereinafter referred to as “SMF”) will hold a nationwide tour concert from Nov 5th. After meeting Seoul fans for two days at KSPO DOME, they will head to Gangneung, Daejeon, Daegu, Gwangju, Busan, Changwon, Incheon and Suwon.
Accordingly, “SMF” opened tickets for concerts in Seoul, Daejeon, Daegu and Gangneung on Oct 12th. But the situation is not good. Seoul concerts are in a better situation, but in the case of local concerts, even front seats are not sold out.
Last year, Mnet’s “Street Woman Fighter” (hereinafter referred to as “SWF”) sold out tickets in one minute after opening the concert reservation. The atmosphere between “SWF” and “SMF” is clearly different.
“SMF” started out by easily surpassing the ratings of the first episode of “SWF”, but failed to show an upward trend and is still in the 1% range. In addition, some fans’ malicious comments towards fight judge BoA made viewers raise eyebrows. In terms of topicality, “SMF” showed a good index thanks to Zico’s “New thing”, but its bare face was revealed through concert ticket sales.
Even “SMF” has not yet opened tickets for concerts scheduled to be held in Suwon, Incheon, Changwon, Busan and Gwangju in December. There is no prediction that tickets will sell well since concerts will be held after the end of the show and at the end of the year. This is the result of excessive confidence of “SMF”, which only thought about the glory of “SWF”.
