Netflix’s new original series “Celebrity” is going viral thanks to word of mouth.
“Celebrity” depicts the splendid and fierce true faces of celebrities when Ah Ri enters the world of money and fame after becoming famous.
“Celebrity” stars actors Park Kyu Young, Kang Min Hyuk, Lee Chung Ah, Lee Dong Gun, and Jeon Hyo Sung. Apart from the cast, the lineup of prominent stars who made special appearances also drew keen attention.
Thanks to the rising popularity of the series, Netflix recently unveiled its cameo lineup with still cuts. The released still images show 2PM member & actor Lee Jun Ho, actresses Seol In Ah, Jung Yoo Jin, (G)I-DLE Yuqi, etc.
Among the cameo actors, Lee Jun Ho’s appearance is definitely the most talked-about. He appeared shortly at the ending of “Celebrity” but left a strong impression on viewers.
Revealing a behind-the-scenes story of the casting, “Celebrity” director Kim Chul Kyu said, “I made lots of phone calls to persuade him”. He said, “His scene was efficient and impactful”, expressing great satisfaction.
In addition to Lee Jun Ho, other well-known names in the special appearance lineup, such as Seol in Ah, Jung Yoo Jin, and Yuqi, also showed off their unique charms and raised public interest in the drama.
Seol In Ah played the role of cosmetic advertising model and actress Song Yeon Woo, who shows a glimpse of the celebrity world where connections with famous people become a ladder to power and fame.
Jung Yoo Jin, who previously impressed viewers with her presence in the Netflix series “Remarriage & Desires”, appeared in this drama as Korea’s representative fashionista model Choi Bom. In the story, Choi Bom posts Ah Ri’s pictures on SNS and her action is the starting point of the explosive increase in Ah Ri’s followers.
Yuqi took on the role of top Chinese influencer Zhang Wei who joins Ah Ri’s fashion business. The (G)I-DLE member caught the eyes of netizens by presenting a new appearance as an actress.
“Celebrity” is currently available on Netflix in 190 countries around the world.
