Vietnamese Fans Welcome BLACKPINK with Spectacular Projects: Hot Air Balloons, LED Screens, and More!

Vietnamese BLACKPINK fans have prepared various amazing projects to welcome the group to Hanoi for “BORN PINK.”

Fans of BLACKPINK are eagerly counting down the last days until two nights of BORN PINK in Vietnam. In the meantime, there have been numerous large-scale projects prepared by Vietnamese fans to welcome BLACKPINK’s first-ever visit to the country.

Hot air balloons

One of the biggest projects from the three major BLACKPINK Vietnamese fansites is “Pink Up The Sky” – a hot air balloon to welcome BLACKPINK to Vietnam.

These two hot air balloons will be adorned with the words “Vietnam BLACKPINK” and “VBLINKS BLACKPINK” in pink. The 12-meter-high balloons will be placed in the area opposite My Dinh National Stadium, the “BORN PINK in Hanoi” concert venue, for two days on 29th and 30th July.

As soon as this project was announced, fans from other countries on Twitter couldn’t help but be amazed by the scale. Some even said that the announcement poster for this project is prettier than BLACKPINK’s official comeback announcement poster.

Pink-covered double-decker buses and bikes

Another notable project is covering double-decker buses in pink with BLACKPINK photos, along with a free bus tour in Hanoi. Vietnamese fans will also be decorating bicycles with BLACKPINK photos and parading them around the streets near My Dinh Stadium.

Solo stage banners for BLACKPINK members

Specifically, for Jisoo’s Flower stage, Vietnamese BLINKs will collectively create a red banner. Blue will be for Jennie’s You & Me stage. Rosé’s Gone & On The Ground performance will be covered in white, and finally, the yellow banner will be dedicated to Lisa’s LALISA – Money stage.

Rosé’s Fansite: Three-sided LED screens and a bus

Rosé’s Fansite (RoseGoldvn – BLACKPINK ROSÉ 1st Vietnamese Fanpage) announced the first project in a series of welcoming BLACKPINK to Vietnam, which is advertising on the three-sided LED screen at TNR Tower. This is a large building in Hanoi, and the LED screen will face three major roads in the city center.

In addition, the second project involves a bus covered with Rosé’s images, which will travel around the city centre and the area near My Dinh Stadium.

Jennie’s Fansite: Banners along Noi Bai Airport route, bus tour, and Vespa tour

The first project announced by Jennie’s Fansite in Vietnam (Mandoo Jennie VN – 김제니 Black Pink) is hanging banners along the route from Noi Bai International Airport from July 26th to August 1st.

The second project involves a roadshow with 10 Vespa scooters moving around the center of Hanoi. Additionally, a 45-seat bus covered with Jennie’s pictures will circle around My Dinh Stadium and nearby areas.

Lisa and Jisoo’s Fansites: Fancy bus projects

Joining in the excitement of welcoming BLACKPINK to Vietnam, Lisa’s Fansite (Eternal Light – LISA BLACKPINK Vietnam Fanpage) and Jisoo’s Fansite (Jisoonly – BLACKPINK Jisoo Vietnam Fanpage) also have separate projects to celebrate the girls’ arrival. A bright yellow bus covered with Lisa’s photos will travel along 8 routes in Hanoi. Additionally, a pink bus will circle around My Dinh Stadium and surrounding areas.
