Kim Ga Eun made her debut in 2009 through SBS’s 11th open recruitment and participated in at least two works every year. However, in 2020, she did not appear in any drama or movie, raising fans’ curiosity.

Recalling her 2020, Kim Ga Eun said, “That was when I moved to a new company. Working as an actor, you need to be chosen. If you don’t get chosen, you will easily feel unstable. I used to suffer a time like that. That’s why I tried not to repeat it.”

At that time, Kim Ga Eun decided to meet the audience in person through theater plays instead of dramas, and it really created a turning point in her career. Regarding this, Kim Ga Eun explained, “I challenged theater acting to find out what I can do”, adding “Meeting the audience like that helped me approach acting in a different sense and feel more confident.”

The actress continued, “I think I’ve improved myself a lot as an actor through the plays I acted. I realized that there are so many places for me to act, whether it is on the stage or anywhere. I just need to do well.”
