Ukrainian model Olena, who criticized MBC, appeals to Koreans for donations and remittances

Ukrainian broadcaster and model Olena asked Korean fans for help in the midst of the Russia – Ukraine War.

On Feb 28th, Olena shared the National Bank of Ukraine account on her personal Instagram story, saying, “Send money here to make a donation to the Ukrainian government at once. Oh, it takes some time to approve the remittance.”

She then added, “If you are personally skeptical of supporting the war directly, I recommend the Red Cross.” She also updated the terrible war situation in her hometown in real time and spoke up, “Korean people need to know it too.”

Olena is a Ukrainian model who is appearing on MBC every1’s “South Korean Foreigners”. Last month, when MBC’s official YouTube channel “Mbig News” described Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, a former comedian, as an “amateur-like politician”, she said, “Korean news made such a ridiculous video, aren’t you ashamed?”
