Lee Jun-ho revealed that the emotional intensity of Episode 1 remains unforgettable.
He shared, “The first episode’s ending, where Tae-poong collapses after seeing his father being moved from the hospital to the funeral hall, stayed with me.”
This critical moment marks the turning point where Tae-poong — who once lived freely, enjoying the carefree life his parents’ generation gave him before the IMF crisis — is suddenly thrown into a season of turmoil. Lee Jun-ho’s portrayal of Tae-poong’s frozen disbelief and muted grief left a strong impact, particularly the painful inability to shed tears for his father.
Lee Jun-ho also highlighted another beloved scene: Tae-poong’s heartfelt proposal in Episode 3.
