Two members of the “Queendom Puzzle” cast suddenly dropped out even before the first episode

Former IZ*ONE’s Lee Chae Yeon and former LABOUM’s Haein are leaving Mnet’s girl group audition program “Queendom Puzzle”.

According to exclusive reports on May 18th, “Lee Chae Yeon and Haein have decided to withdraw from ‘Queendom Puzzle’. Although the two have finished filming some parts of the show, they have made the decision to leave the program after deep discussions with the production team.”

The two reportedly decided to withdraw after the first recording of “Queendom Puzzle”, and the early recorded footage will be aired as is without any edits. There will be no additional castings due to Lee Chae Yeon and Haein’s departure.

“Queendom Puzzle” is a survival program that brings together active girl group members or female solo artists to create a project girl group.

Girls’ Generation member Taeyeon serves as the MC. It has been revealed that JooE from MOMOLAND, Kei from Lovelyz, and Yeeun from CLC will also appear. The first episode is scheduled to air on June 13th.

Lee Chae Yeon was previously active as a member of the group IZ*ONE and received a lot of support. After the disbandment of IZ*ONE, she is currently active as a solo artist. Her recent mini-album ‘Over The Moon’ with the title track ‘Knock’ has gained attention for its good performance on music charts.

Haein established a new agency, R&D Company, in January. She is actively participating as an MC on Channel A’s variety show “A Fun Living Equipment”.
