In a daring move, The Gentleman collaborates with Park Myung-jin, the CEO of Cheon-In Foods, to infiltrate a high-stakes real estate investment group led by Lee Min-cheol. Meanwhile, Lee Si-on, disguised with the help of Madam Joo, a club owner, tracks Oh Mi-sook’s movements, pretending to be in a relationship with Cho Philip.
Their investigation culminates in a shocking discovery, with Cho Philip receiving an urgent call from Go Jae-kyung, saying that she has lost contact with Baek Seung-moo. When he rushes to Baek Seung-moo’s house, he finds the building owner in a life-threatening state, having attempted suicide after his mother absconded with the properties.
In a poignant subplot, The Gentleman’s grief over the loss of his son is explored. On the anniversary of his son’s death, he visits Yoon Dong-hee, the person responsible for his son’s death, now in a catatonic state.
