On September 30, Lee Si Young uploaded a new vlog titled “The Sunset at the West Sea Was Crazy… Rooftop Camping in Ganghwa Island With a Camper” on her YouTube channel Boosiyoung. The video showed her heading to a campsite with friends, explaining that her son Jung Yoon had begged her to go camping again. “This is only two weeks since our last trip, but Jung Yoon kept asking and waiting, so we came out again. Honestly, it’s tough going camping every two weeks,” she said.
Lee then revealed her baby bump, saying, “I’m eight months pregnant now, so my belly has grown a lot.” However, a friend pointed out that her bump didn’t look like she was that far along. Lee admitted, “This is my second child, but my stomach isn’t showing as much as it did with my first. The baby is big, and I have a lot of amniotic fluid, so maybe it’s just that my body has more space. But really, my belly hasn’t come out much.”
She also revealed a surprising health detail: “I was diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I was shocked because I thought I was eating really healthily. The hospital told me to avoid fried foods and other things, but none of that applied to me. Then I realized it was peaches. I was eating four or five peaches at a time without rice, and it turns out peaches are very high in sugar. The doctor said if I just stop eating peaches, it will be fine.”
Lee also shared a lighthearted pregnancy struggle. “When I park, sometimes I can’t get out of the car because of my belly. It’s funny because I used to slip in and out so easily, but now I get stuck. I had to move the car forward, but since I couldn’t park again myself, I had to look for a different spot,” she said with a laugh.
Lee Si Young married a restaurateur in 2017 but announced their divorce in March 2025. Just four months later, in July, she revealed her pregnancy with her second child. She explained that the baby was conceived through an embryo transfer from IVF treatment she had undergone during her marriage. The baby, a girl, is expected later this year.
