Ji Won Yi is a trot singer nicknamed the “military president” thanks to her popularity in the Korean military. As a result, I didn’t have time to date.”

She continued while shedding tears, “My mother suffered from lupus. Her condition was so bad that it was dangerous to even undergo a test. Then I heard about a clinical trial for a new medicine. At the time, I didn’t know that medicines were so scary, so 8 months felt like 8 years. I can’t explain in words how it felt watching the side effects on my mother’s body.”

She added, “I thought about whether I had made it more difficult for my mother for no reason. So I cried a lot. Fortunately, she miraculously survived, and it is amazing to see my mother even now.”

Ji Won Yi has an unexpected charm. Contrary to the image of a “club maniac”, she has a calm personality. “I feel so unfamiliar when I watch my stage videos. I look intense in those videos even from my POV,” she said with a smile. Ji Won Yi then revealed that she enjoys reading in the morning, “Isn’t it my time alone? I can focus on what I like.”
