TREASURE temporarily closed outdoor booths amid worsening weather conditions
On December 16th, TREASURE’s official SNS channel uploaded a notice, saying “The booths outside the concert venue have been closed for safety issues due to bad weather conditions. We will inform you about the operation of outdoor booths tomorrow according to the weather conditions. We ask for the understanding of fans who visited the concert venue today”.
YG Entertainment MD’s official channel also posted an announcement, stating “TREASURE Concert MD booths and events have been closed earlier due to strong winds for safety reasons. We ask for your understanding”.
Photos and videos of the outdoor MD booths and events at TREASURE’s concert are spreading in online communities. A fan who came to the concert also said, “The MD booths collapsed in front of my eyes”, adding a photo showing several people urgently holding the booth with both hands to prevent it from collapsing due to strong winds. Another fan expressed concern, saying “The ceiling fell off and the booth collapsed”.
Many other fans also captured the scene of the booths after they were closed and reported the situation on SNS. The fact that measures were taken very quickly on the scene also drew attention from netizens.
TREASURE is holding their “REBOOT” concert in Seoul at KSPO DOME from December 15th to 17th. The group is doing various events, such as MD booths, luck draws, photo zones, etc., at the booths outside the concert venue to communicate with fans.
In particular, TREASURE also released new MDs to commemorate the launch of their Seoul concert this time. Since the events were successful yesterday (December 15th), fans who came to the second day of the concert are upset because the booths have been closed due to worsening weather.
