Top 9 Most Watched Contents on TVING in 2023: “Jinny’s Kitchen”, “King the Land”, and More
Korea’s online streaming platform TVING has revealed all the contents that received the most love in 2023
On December 13th, TVING announced the ‘Best 9 Contents of the Year’ and ‘Best Contents by Genre of the Year.’ These were selected based on the total VOD viewership data from December 2022 to November 2023.
The ‘Best 9 Contents of the Year’ includes variety shows ‘Street Woman Fighter 2,’ ‘Earth Arcade 2,’ ‘Jinny’s Kitchen,’ ‘You Quiz on the Block,’ and dramas ‘King the Land,’ ‘Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938,’ ‘Island,’ ‘Crash Course in Romance,’ and ‘Work Later, Drink Now 2.’
This year, content that returned with Season 2 particularly stood out. ‘Work Later, Drink Now 2,’ ‘Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938,’ ‘Street Woman Fighter 2,’ and ‘Earth Arcade 2’ all exceeded the success of their previous seasons.
In the ‘Best Contents by Genre of the Year,’ the drama ‘Work Later, Drink Now 2’ and the variety show ‘Earth Arcade 2’ topped their respective genres, following their simultaneous appearance in ‘Best 9 Contents of the Year.’
In the movie category, Hollywood action blockbuster ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ topped the list. In the culture category, ‘The Dictionary of Useless Human Knowledge’ took 1st place. In the overseas TV series category, the women-led Paramount+ original series ‘Special Ops: Lioness’ came out on top. In the animation category, ‘Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba – To the Swordsmith Village’ was the most loved in 2023.
