TikTok Launches New In-app Campaign For BTS Jimin’s 2nd Solo Album “MUSE”

TikTok prepared a special in-app hub to provide better experiences for fans in celebration of BTS Jimin’s new solo album

To commemorate the release of BTS Jimin’s second solo album “MUSE”, TikTok just unveiled a campaign called “#Jimin_Who” to provide a new in-app experience.

TikTok’s new immersive campaign hub is a leading platform for music discovery that offers users exclusive content released only on TikTok in apps with mutual experiences.

From July 21st, fans can enjoy #Jimin_Who hub by clicking on the search banner that appears alongside related terms such as ‘Jimin’ and ‘BTS’. Fans will have a chance to do challenges to unlock a limited-time exclusive profile frame. In addition, the hub also has a Fan Spotlight function to showcase Jimin’s performance content and introduce the best videos created by the TikTok community.

Making their debut in 2013, BTS became one of the most popular music groups in history and the 4th most famous artist account on TikTok. BTS’s account has more than 65.6 million followers with more than 1.4 billion likes. Related hashtag #bts has been used in videos of 94.1 million creators, and #bts_official_bighit is used a lot by TikTok users in as many as 33.4 million videos.

The hashtag #jimin has been used in more than 22.9 million videos. After Jimin released his solo debut album last year, more than 300,000 videos have used his No.1 song “Like Crazy”. In addition, dance videos uploaded on BTS’s official TikTok account have gained more than 36.2 million views and 8.5 million likes.

The pre-release video using the song “Smeraldo Garden Marching Band (feat. Loco)” from “MUSE” album has surpassed 11 million views and 2.5 million likes.
