On July 14 (KST), Jimin and fellow BTS member Jungkook went live to chat with fans, sharing stories and discussing their latest updates. But in true Jimin fashion, chaos quickly followed. While joking about Jungkook’s “sojunghan” (precious) phone battery, Jimin accidentally said “sojungi”—a slang term in Korean for male genitalia.

The slip didn’t go unnoticed. Jungkook immediately burst out laughing and jokingly put Jimin on “timeout.” Realizing the unintended pun, Jimin added to the fun by quipping that he might need to upload an apology video. The chaotic moment sent fans into a frenzy, even more so when Jimin continued to blur the lines between innocent and risqué with a second misstep.

In another instance, Jimin’s rapid pronunciation led Jungkook to mistakenly think he had sworn on air. The confusion only added to the comedic gold of the stream, with both idols eventually laughing it off.

International fans, who initially missed the jokes due to the lack of live subtitles, caught on later—and reactions exploded across social media. Tweets and fan edits quickly turned the mishaps into viral moments, proving once again that even unintentional humor from BTS can take the internet by storm.

For the official subtitle team, however, Jimin’s accidental puns may be the real challenge. As one fan put it, “Good luck translating that without getting flagged!”
