This Korean actor lied about his age because he wanted to be casted for a movie 

In order to pass a movie audition, this actor said he was 10 years older than his real age

Actor Yoon Kyung Ho recently confessed that he lied about his age in order to be casted for a movie, surprising viewers.

In particular, Yoon Kyung Ho appeared as a guest on the October 30th episode of Kim Dae Hee’s YouTube show “Let’s Eat”. Here, he shared an anecdote, and said that he had experienced many things from looking older than his real age.

In particular, he revealed that he was rejected from a movie audition because his age and role did not match, saying, “When I went to the audition, they believed I was in my 30s, only to later reject me because I was younger than they thought.”

The actor then continued, “From then on, I removed my age from my profile altogether. They kept asking me about my age, so I asked, ‘How old do you think I look?’, and answered positively when they thought I was born in the 70s. In the end, I ended up getting casted for that project, a movie called ‘My Brother is Back’ (literal translation). 

In addition, Yoon Kyung Ho confessed that after the audition, he admitted to the production team that he lied about his age.

According to the actor, at that time, the production team said, “I thought you were older. But that’s good. If you said your real age, I think we would have prejudice. Continue to lie about your age in the future.”

Yoon Kyung Ho then revealed that he not only lied to the production team, but also to his co-stars about his age, saying, “At the time, I worked with actor Lee Ah Hyun. Senior Ah Hyun doesn’t know about my age yet, and I’d like to take this opportunity to apologize”.

On the other hand, actor Yoon Kyung Ho made his debut in the series “Rustic Period” in 2002, and has since been active in a wide range of acting activities regardless of minor roles and supporting roles.
