Actress Hong Soo Ah surprised netizens with her outstanding sports skills.
Hong Soo Ah is active in various fields as an actress, MC and entertainer. She will appear in the new movie “Butterfly Effect”.
Last month, Hong Soo Ah showed off her incredible athletic skills through SBS’s program “Kick a Goal”. Hong Soo Ah, a member of the FC Bulnabang, surprised her team members and viewers as she proved her presence as an ace when playing in a combined team.
Hong Soo Ah is well known by the nickname “Hongdro”, which was created as Hong Soo Ah’s appearance when doing her first pitch resembles that of the legendary pitcher Pedro Martínez. Apart from baseball, Hong Soo Ah also impressed the public with her athletic ability in futsal and tennis.
Last year, Hong Soo Ah became the first celebrity to win the national women’s tennis tournament, drawing keen attention.
She achieved victory in the Doubles category at the 5th Yangpyeong National Women’s Tennis Tournament and received both prize money and a trophy.
Prior to that, she even won two gold medals in an open tennis non-ranking competition and successfully reached the “chrysanthemum” rank that is normally difficult for women to achieve.
Meanwhile, Hong Soo Ah made her debut in the entertainment industry in 2003 as an exclusive model for a magazine. She gained love from viewers after starring in MBC’s drama “Nonstop 5” and SBS’s variety show “Heroes”.
The actress, who started working in China in 2013, has recently returned to be active in Korea. She appeared in “Move to Mind”, DongA TX’s “Beauty and Booty 7”, and SBS’s “Kick A Goal”. Her new acting project “Butterfly Effect” will be released soon.
Hong Soo Ah is also volunteering to help abandoned dogs. She was applauded by netizens after adopting five dogs.
