This actor competed to become an idol but couldn’t succeed.
On December 15th, EXID’s Hani and actor Park Seon Ho appeared on the YouTube channel ‘Yongjin Health Center’ and shared their first impressions of each other.
Hani said, “(Park Seon Ho) is good at making comments and actions that make people feel very excited.” Lee Yong Jin said, “In a way, it could be manners, and in a way, it could be flirting.” Gabee said, “There are men who deliberately try to look good, and all women can feel it. But (Park Seon Ho) doesn’t seem to be like that.”
Recently, Park Seon Ho announced his breakup with his agency IHQ (Sidus HQ), after 9 years, through Instagram. Park Seon Ho said, “I feel like I have a lot of regrets and a heavy heart because my agency and I had a lot of happy memories and time together.”
Finally, he said, “Thank you for supporting and trusting me until I decided to start anew,” and thanked his agency for doing their best to help him grow into a good actor.
Park Seon Ho, who debuted as an actor through the MBC drama ‘Golden Rainbow’ in 2013, dreamed of becoming an idol and started his trainee life at Starship Entertainment in 2008 when he was in middle school.
As a Starship trainee before Sistar’s Soyou, he was supposed to be a member of Starship’s first boy group, Boyfriend, but failed to join the lineup right before his debut.
Afterwards, he trained with MONSTA X‘s Shownu, Wonho, Jooheon, Kihyun, etc. and worked as a backup dancer for Sistar. He later left the agency and turned to an actor.
Shortly after he transferred to IHQ, Park Seon Ho, who had lingering feelings for a singer as his colleague debuted as Monsta X, became a hot topic in 2019 when he appeared on Mnet’s “Produce X101” as a contestant.
Soyou, who was a trainee with Park Seon Ho pre-debut, appeared as a judge, and Monsta X’s Jooheon appeared as a coach on the show. They were touched by Park Seon Ho’s efforts.
Park Seon Ho later starred in OCN’s ‘Rugal’, and after serving in the military, he was cast in the movie ‘Lavant’ with Park Seong Woong and Kim Hee Jung. He is currently preparing to appear in Coupang Play’s original series ‘Fanta G Spot’ with Hani.
