Actress Lee Chung Ah will join “My Dearest”.
On August 28th, Lee Chung Ah’s agency J-Wide Company announced that Lee Chung Ah will join MBC’s Friday-Saturday drama “My Dearest”.
Set during the Qing invasion of Joseon, “My Dearest” depicts the story of people who cultivate hope in the midst of hardship.
Lee Chung Ah will play a mysterious figure in blue mask who gets involved with Lee Jang Hyun (Nam Goong Min). Lee Chung Ah, who is about to make a strong transformation into a bold yet pure Qing prisoner hunter, is expected to give viewers a dramatic sense of immersion through her in-depth relationship with the surrounding characters.
As Lee Chung Ah appears in a historical drama after a long time since “Chosun Police Season 2”, interest in her performance in “My Dearest” is rising. Besides, viewers are also looking forward to what kind of chemistry she and Nam Goong Min will present in the third collaboration following “Awaken” and “One Dollar Lawyer”.
