“They were there 12 hours before the concert?”… A SEVENTEEN member was spotted at “this place”
“I met world-famous idol group members at a club”, said a netizen who saw an idol singer at a club in the U.S.
A famous idol group recently held their concert tour in the U.S and performed the show in Washington on August 28th. Fans were very excited since it was the group’s first world tour in about three years since 2019.
However, the day before the concert, some members were seen at an unexpected place. It was a local club in the U.S.
The netizen who witnessed them at the club said, “I can’t believe Mingyu hit my butt at the club last night”, showing great excitement. The identity of that famous idol group is Seventeen.
Another Internet user also posted a photo taken with his girlfriend and two men believed to be Seventeen members S.Coups and Mingyu were found in the photo.
Mingyu was confirmed to have Covid-19 on August 19th and ended his quarantine on August 24th. Therefore, he was unable to join the concert in Houston. Fans who waited a long time to see him were greatly disappointed.
On August 27th, members Hoshi and Joshua were also announced to have Covid-19 again and they couldn’t participate in the shows in Washington and Atlanta.
Amid the situation where the members are being infected with Covid-19 one after another, Mingyu was spotted at a club together with leader S.Coups. The two visited the club 12 hours before the concert and they actually had more concerts to finish after then.
Local fans also said they spotted Mingyu at a golf course. Mingyu also posted several photos on his Instagram revealing that he went to a pub and showing his happy daily life moments in the U.S.
Many people, including fans, pointed out the that Mingyu went to the club 12 hours before the concert and that he appeared at such a place not long after finishing his Covid-19 quarantine and criticized the Seventeen member. Netizens also revealed that not only Mingyu but other members also visited the clubs at the time they were being infected with Covid-19.
Mingyu once caused a big controversy when he was found visiting a restaurant and bar in Itaewon, Seoul with BTS’s Jungkook, NCT’s Jaehyun, ASTRO’s Cha Eun-woo in May 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic was at its peak.
Meanwhile, S.Coups and Mingyu’s group Seventeen wrapped up their North American tour “SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [BE THE SUN]” on September 6th.
Seventeen will continue to perform in major Asian cities, such as Jakarta (Indonesia), Bangkok (Thailand), Manila (the Philippines), etc. from this month until November. This December, the group is also scheduled to enter Tokyo Dome in Japan for the first time since their debut.
