THEBLACKLABEL Responds To Staff Accident During Trainees’ Photoshoot, Police To Punish Person In Charge

Amidst the photoshoot for THEBLACKLABEL trainees, staff members accidently fell, prompting a response from the company

THEBLACKLABEL released an official statement on February 29th that reads, “An accident occurred on February 28th during the shoot, where staff members fell. Among the 4 injured, 2 are freelance staff from the production outsourcing company, while the other 2 are our employees. They were promptly transported to the hospital for thorough examination and treatment of their injuries immediately after the accident.”

THEBLACKLABEL continued, “We promise to make every effort, in consultation with medical professionals, for the swift recovery of the injured. We will pay even closer attention to prevent accidents from recurring in future shooting locations.”

According to the police and fire authorities, on February 28th at 12:42 PM KST, an accident occurred where 4 staff members, who were working on the second floor, fell 6 meters at a 3-story abandoned factory in Gyeonggi Province.

As a result of the accident, two men in their 30s and 40s suffered head and other injuries and were transferred to the hospital in critical condition, while two others in their 20s suffered minor injuries. It was reported that all the injured are not in critical condition.

This accident happened during a photoshoot involving THEBLACKLABEL trainees. After investigating whether safety rules were properly followed throughout the shooting process, the police plan to punish the person in charge of the shoot on charges of professional negligence.
