The surprising meaning of the hackberry in “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” revealed by netizens

The story of the hackberry of Sodeok-dong that appeared in the 8th episode of ENA drama “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” is going viral.

The law firm Hanbada and Taesan faced off over a lawsuit to cancel the decision on building the road zone in Sodeok-dong. At the center was the hackberry tree of Sodeok-dong. Eventually, it was decided that the hackberry would be designated as a natural monument.

Among them, the meaning of the hackberry tree, which some netizens have revealed, is drawing attention. Hackberry is said to be found mainly in natural embankments, which are the boundary between rivers and land, or in coastal alluvial hills, which are the boundary between the sea and land.
