Singer Lee Hyo-ri expressed her affection for the manager who has been with her for nearly 20 years.
MBC’s “The Manager,” which aired on the afternoon of July 23rd, showed Hong Hyun-hee (41), a broadcaster who went on a prenatal trip to Jeju Island, and Jason (37), an interior designer, meeting Lee Hyo-ri (44), and Lee Sang-soon. While enjoying dinner together, Hong Hyun-hee said to Lee Hyo-ri, “It would have been better if Lee Geun-seop (43) manager was here.”
In response, Lee Hyo-ri called Lee Geun-seop (who she called by the nickname “Seob-ie”), the manager who has been with her since he was 26, and calmly said that he doesn’t appear much on camera anymore because he is currently a director at ESTEEM Entertainment.
Hong Hyun-hee mentioned that Lee Hyo-ri and Lee Geun-seop have been working together for about 20 years and asked how they were able to work together for such a long time. Lee Hyo-ri said she often felt lonely and empty after her debut that she once thought, “Are people just using me?”. However, she said that even then, she feels warm when she is with manager Lee Geun-seop. Lee Hyo-ri’s affection for manager Lee Geun-seop was also seen on TVing “Seoul Mate,” which aired in June.
