According to SPOTV News on Feb 16th, Kang Hoon has been cast in tvN’s new drama “Little Women” (written by Kim Hee-won, directed by Chung Seo-kyung).
“Little Women” depicts the story of three poor sisters Oh In-ju (Kim Go-eun), Oh In-kyung (Nam Ji-hyun) and Oh In-hye (Park Ji-hu) who have good friendship, and how they face-off Korea’s richest family. Kang Hoon will lead the story by playing the counterpart of the second daughter Oh In-kyung.
Kang Hoon proved his character digestibility as he recently transformed into Hong Deok-ro, the most handsome man in Joseon, in MBC’s drama “The Red Sleeve“. In addition, after the end of the show, he emerged as an “entertainment blue-chip” with his warm personality and pleasant volubility through various entertainment shows such as “Radio Star”.
Kang Hoon, who has grown into a notable actor by gradually building his own filmography from “Let Me Introduce Her”, “Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung”, “Meow, the Secret Boy”, “You Are My Spring” to “The Red Sleeve”, is expected to continue his brilliant rise through “Little Women”.
“Little Women” is directed by PD Kim Hee-won of “Vincenzo” and “The Crowned Clown” as well as written by writer Chung Seo-kyung of “The Handmaiden” and “Lady Vengeance”. It is scheduled to air in the second half of 2022.
